Thomson Ski & Snowboarding 2007/8 main brochure, launched today, continues to offer ski holidays for families, beginner skiers and snowboarders and everybody who always wanted to try out winter sports, but never quite made it by offering:
- a FREE lift pass all season in Chamrousse (NEW) and Superdévoluy (France);
- prices from £199 per person to Europe and from £299 to North America;
- departures from 20 UK airports and many new flights for next season;
- choice of new resorts: Chamrousse and Val Cenis (France); Salla (Finland);
- free child places (and we mean FREE) on every departure date and free ski helmets for children.
The new resorts in France are Chamrousse (with free lift pass all season) and Val Cenis. Chamrousse is just 40 minutes from Grenoble making it one of the most accessible resorts in the Alps. Built originally for the Winter Olympics, it offers a good variety of slopes, tree lined runs and a FREE lift pass is included all season. Prices start from £249 in the 3 star Chamrousse Apartments with return flights, transfers and 6 day lift pass. Val Cenis is a charming ski resort comprised of two traditional villages, Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard. Both offer excellent value for money and a good range of skiing for all levels.
In Finland, the new resort is Salla, an unspoilt wilderness of frozen rivers, lakes and fells close to the Russian border where you can try out a host of activities from snow mobile safaris, reindeer tours, snowshoe nature trips to husky dog sledding.
